I have been a prolific and dedicated artist since I was a child, always wanting to "tell stories" through my art (originally inspired by children’s book illustrations). I attended fine art college at Cooper Union in Manhattan. For 10 years we lived outside Woodstock in a four-story house designed and built by my husband. Then we got tired of the cold and moved to Florida. For 9 years we lived in Miami where I showed my art extensively in the Miami Design District and Miami Beach -- I once had a one-woman show; painted an 8 foot x 8 foot mural displayed on the construction wall of a new SOBE condo; and consistently showed at one of the hottest galleries in Miami – Art Fusion. We moved back to our permanent home in SW Florida (our mini-estate) and I spend the majority of time in my studio and working on a very large body of work. Last year one of my paintings was made into a huge billboard that was shown along Sarasota Bay -- I was one of 39 artists that were selected out of 750 for the "Embracing Our Differences" multi-cultural themed show. Now I am on Etsy, have gotten incredible feedback and look forward to becoming an online seller. I am still telling stories through my art!
